Drawing from the legendary tale of Icarus, this console combines modern craftsmanship and utilization of the 3D printer with mythic symbolism, resulting in a piece that embodies the spirit of flight, aspiration, and artistic expression. This fusion of modern technology and classical imagery serves as a timeless homage to the myth.

STRUCTURE
The console's tabletop, in a sleek and commanding black finish, provides a contrast to the metallic legs and adds a touch of opulence. Each leg, crafted with metal, is meticulously pressed with 3D modeled and prints of a drawing that pays homage to the myth of Icarus. Parts of the legs manifests an error and reveals the original structure of the leg, reflecting the rise and fall with with the intrinsic horizontal beams of metal.
WINGED ARTISTRY
The 3D-printed images on the legs feature intricate details of wings, capturing the essence of Icarus’ wax and feathered wings. Starting off as a drawing, the wings are delicately rendered, creating a subtle yet striking visual texture that adds depth and artistry to the console’s design.
ILLUMINATED ASCENT
An integrated backlighting system not only accentuates the wings’ sculptural detailing surface but also imparts an otherworldly aura and a halo effect like glow to the entire console. Positioned at the back of the legs, a hidden light source casts a soft and ethereal glow that illuminates the wings, creating a captivating play of reflection and highlights.
